The Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation (CNCF) was established in 2000 by the family and friends of Nick Tallungan, a courageous 10-year-old boy who lost his battle to neuroblastoma. As a 501(c)(3) national non-profit organization, we are committed to finding a cure for neuroblastoma through research, education, awareness and advocacy.
Today, we are a global foundation representing hundreds of families. The donations we receive are used to fund research and programs, host informational conferences, host parent and caregiver educational seminars, provide resources to families, and raise the public's awareness of this disease.
Gifts of Hope was created to support CNCF's mission to one day find a cure for neuroblastoma. Children are fun, engaging and free spirited, and we believe that parks are a welcoming place for them to learn and grow. It was this inviting and encouraging atmosphere that made parks the cardinal theme to the Gifts of Hope program.
On this site, children touched by neuroblastoma are allowed to create their own park. People can then visit each child's individual parks to leave messages or make donations to help give these children more sunny days.
